family and sleep off the jet lag. |

at GVC Orientation and City Tour. 12:30-16:00 Breakfast with your new family, then travel in to Greater Vancouver College (GVC) to meet your teacher and for an Orientation & an Assessment Test. Then ride the Skytrain for a tour of Downtown Vancouver and return home for dinner. |

Classes 13:00-16:00 Seabus to North Vancouver Take the Seabus across Burrard Inlet to Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver. Another chance to do some shopping at the public market and to see spectacular views of Downtown Vancouver. Be sure to bring your camera! |

ESL Classes 13:00 -16:00 Deer Lake/Burnaby Heritage Village Step into the past and see what life was like here 100 years ago! Apart from sights like the smithy and the carousel, there is the natural beauty of Deer Lake Park to explore. And you can get yourself a souvenir in the Village. |

ESL Classes 13:00-16:Step into Science World/3D-Imax We're off to see the wizardry of Science World. Experiment with interactive displays, then take in the 3-D laser show and the Omnimax movie. |

to Whistler, and scenic Shannon Falls and Alice Lake. After an early breakfast, drive the famous Sea-to-Sky Highway to Whistler Ski Resort, one of the stops on the World Cup tour. There is snow on the mountain, even in summer. |

Catching Crab at Barnet Marine Park A beautiful shoreline park on the north face of Burnaby Mountain is our next destination. You can see the marina, and catch crabs from the wharf. |

Classes 13:00-16:00 Swimming Perhaps Burnaby's best-known recreation centre, offers racket-sports, judo, and basketball as well as swimming. Enjoy a sauna, and a hot-tub after your swim. |

ESL Classes 13:00 -16:00 Ice-Skating Enjoy a truly Canadian activity: a skating party on a rink that we'll have all to ourselves! Yes, even in summertime, Canadians go skating. You'll have a big appetite at dinnertime. |

of Downtown Victoria/Butchard Garden Another early start, as we ferry to Vancouver Island and the capital city of British Columbia. They say that Downtown Victoria is more English than England. We'll see the Legislature and the Empress Hotel, as well as the harbour and also Victoria's Chinatown. Also the famous Butchard Garden, where you can see lots of flowers blooming. |

Tour in B.C. It's time for you to have hours of fun and get some exercise too. A tour of the countryside in a most enjoyable and informative way. A real farm adventure, see the variety of fruits growing in the fields and see how they are meticulously cultivated. |

Aquarium in Stanley Park We're off to the largest urban park in North America, where we'll visit the Aquarium. Fish from all over the world can be seen here, including piranhas and crocodiles. |

Party/Farewell Banquet 18:00-20:00 How time flies! It's time to say goodbye to your teacher and your new friends. Enjoy the farewell party; then you'll have a free afernoon to catch your breath. Do some shopping, or just hang out with your new friends or your homestay family. We'll meet for our farewell Banquet at Vancouver's most exciting theme restaurant. |
| 24¡@Saturday | GVC Good-bye! All good things come to an end. Say farewell to your homestay family and thank them for their hospitality. Then board your plane for the return to your hometow. |
