Greater Vancouver College

Greater Vancouver College (GVC) is pleased to offer a Summer Activity Program for international students and visitors. Students will learn English and discover Vancouver, and see why it is one of the most beautiful and dynamic cities in the world.

The program is open to new registrants all summer, from July 4 to July 29 or July 25 to August 19, 2004.

ESL Instructions

In the mornings, students will learn English from our highly experienced Canadian teachers. All teachers at GVC have university degrees and are certified to teach English as a Second Language.

Classes are broad-based, and includes instructions in Speaking, Pronunciation, Conversation skills, Vocabulary, Grammar, and Writing.

Class times are Monday to Firday, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Activities

Every afternoon, and on Saturday's and Sunday's, students leave their classrooms to explore Vancouver.

All school outings are supervised and language-based. Students will continue to learn English while enjoying our beautiful city.

Age Requirements
Students must be at least 12 years old.

The 3-weeks ESL Summer Study-Tour Program cost is Cdn $2,700.00, 4-weeks ESL Summer Study-Tour Program cost is Cdn $3,400.00 and:

•Vancouver airport pick-up and drop-off
　(this does not include the $15 Airport Improvement Fee)
•3-weeks' worth of ESL Tuition
•3-weeks' Homestay Fee (including 3 meals a day)
•Fee for all activities(Not include Bus monthly pass)
•Farewell Banquet
•Certificate of Achievement Presentation
•Souvenir T-Shirt (with colour logo)
•Health Insurance
